LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Greenbrier County Republicans will gather for the Save America Dinner on Saturday, April 29. The Dutch Haus at the Elks Country Club will serve a traditional Republican menu consisting of baked steak with gravy, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, rolls and assorted pies.
Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. with buffet dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $50 a person. Contact Doug McKinney at 304-641-1205 for information and reservations.
The featured speaker is West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, the first Republican to serve in that role since 1933. Morrisey recently announced that he is running for West Virginia governor. He will address the multimillion dollar settlements that West Virginia has received from opioid lawsuits against drug firms and drug stores.
