There seems to be no shortage of festivals and events in our area.
Somebody’s always got something planned to highlight the skills of the artists that have made these mountains their home. One organization that has a knack for making these events memorable is Clifton Forge School of the Arts.
If you were lucky enough to experience their Christmas market, Kriskindlmarkt, then you’ve got a pretty good idea of how great their upcoming fundraiser is going to be.
Clifton Forge School of the Arts, along with the Historic Masonic Ampitheatre, will be holding their third Mayfaire: A Spring Arts and Garden Festival, and there’s going to be tons to enjoy.
Artists will have their work available at both indoor and outdoor settings and local musicians will be performing at the amphitheater throughout the day.
The younger attendees will also get the chance to shine. Right outside the kids’ activity tent, aspiring artists will have a booth where they can display and sell their work.
There will be food galore, artists a-plenty and so many activities it would simply be too much to list them all.
Music, art and food come together to create what promises to be a successful fundraiser for these two nonprofit organizations. If this sounds like a good time then you’ll want to make sure you’ve got Saturday, May 6, free to enjoy this celebration of spring.
Adults pay $5 to get in and kids are free. Make sure to visit cliftonforgemayfaire.com to stay up to date on this exciting event.
