LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier East Spartans were well represented on the All-Coalfield Conference basketball teams.

Adam Seams (8 votes) and Goose Gabbert (8 votes) each made the first team with Monquelle Davis snagging honorable mention honors in Class AAAA.

The Lady Spartans also had Cadence Stewart and her younger sister, Kennedy Stewart, on the first team with Caroline Dotson landing on the honorable mention list.

Gabbert led the Spartans in scoring at 17.5 points per game this season and Seams was second at a 10.2 clip.

Cadence Stewart (11 votes) led the area in girls by a wide margin. She put in 19.3 points and grabbed 6.7 rebounds per contest. Kennedy Stewart (6 votes) averaged 13 points per game.

Gabbert, Seams, Davis and Cadence Stewart are all seniors and will graduate this May. Kennedy Stewart and Dotson will return on the girls’ side for their sophomore and junior seasons, respectively.
