RONCEVERTE, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Ronceverte Skate Shop will host Business After Hours on Thursday, March 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and their grand opening/ribbon cutting will be on Friday, March 17, at 10 a.m. The store will then be open until 6 p.m.
The Ronceverte Skate Shop offers skateboards and accessories, bikes, clothing, and more and is one of the newest additions to the revitalized downtown Ronceverte area. Many of their items are West Virginia-made.
The owners, James and Joanne Holt, moved to Lewisburg during the COVID-19 pandemic. In their time here, they have been very involved with the community, including being mentors for Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County.
They’ve shared their love of the outdoors with their children, and the family enjoys adventuring together in addition to being part of various athletic
teams in the area.
“We hope to grow this business into something that becomes a resource and safe haven for children and families in the area,” says Joanne Holt. “We want kids to have opportunities to try new things and just want to make a difference for them and our community, no matter how small.”
The Ronceverte Skate Shop is located at 543 Edgar Avenue in Ronceverte.
