Bonnie Lephew Morgan, 61, of Ronceverte, WV, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV, after a short illness.
Born June 15, 1955, at Union, WV, she was the daughter of Hunter Lephew of Ronceverte.
Bonnie was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Greenbrier County Health Department as a sanitarian. She was a member of the Greenbrier River Optimistic Ukulele Players, the Master Gardeners, the Sierra Club, and the Nature Conservancy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Holcomb Lephew.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Morgan of Ronceverte; a sister, Evelyn Brown (Terry) of Frankford, WV; brothers, Sammy Lephew of Ronceverte and Eddie Lephew (Joyce) of Mayoden, NC; a niece, Heather Davis; sisters-in-law, Thelma McQuade (John), Glemma Bradley (Austin), Theda Campbell (David), Linda Shope (Bob), Marcia Wickline (Wayne), Martha Harrison (Harold), and Joann Honaker (Tommy); brothers-in-law, Jesse Morgan (Lottie), Andrew Morgan (Marry), Joey Morgan, and Ronnie Hughes (Jane); three special dogs, Wyllie, Boomer, and Maizey; and two cats, Bella and Hedge Hog.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at McLean Presbyterian Church on Masters Road at Ronceverte with the Rev. Mark Shafer and Pastor Wesley Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
