LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier County Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 14, at 6 p.m. in the Kyle and Ann Fort Arts and Sciences Building, 653 Church St., Lewisburg.
Agenda items include Music in Our Schools Month proclamation, recognition of Alderson Elementary archery team, recognition of 2023 county spelling bee winners, 2023 county Young Writers winners, recognition of 2022-23 county Math Field Day winners;
Delegations; presentation by Greenbrier West High School student representatives, financial items, approval of 2023-24 school calendar, approval of 2023-24 midterm/nine-week dates, approval of 2023-24 universal pre-K calendar, approval of 2023-24 Head Start Quality Improvement and COLA grants;
Policies for approval (policies found at http://www.greenbriercountyschools.org/); adoption of the schedule of proposed levy rates for fiscal year 2024; award of proposal for turf installation/replacement and track repairs and more.
