Robert Lee Surbaugh, 75, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Charleston Area Medical Center in the Memorial Division in Charleston, WV.
Robert was born February 28, 1942, in Beckley, WV, to Kirby Owen and Chloe Florence Shires Surbaugh.
Robert was a proud member of the United States Air Force, belonged to the Moose Lodge in Pine Island, FL, and was the owner and operator of his company, Montgomery Ward Catalogue Store. Robert truly lived and loved life to the fullest.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leon Surbaugh and Jim Surbaugh.
Survivors include his twin sister, Betty Egich of Beckley; dear companion, Betty Turner; a very special companion, his dog, Molly; his nieces and nephews, Frank Egich, Pam Gaines, and Debi Brisker; as well as many good friends.
To honor Robert’s memory, his family will set up a memorial service at a later date.
