Iona Elizabeth Campbell, 73, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV.
Born June 11, 1943, she was a daughter of Bina Kirkpatrick.
Mrs. Campbell had worked at Moore’s Laudromat for 10 years and cleaned numerous houses in the White Sulphur Springs area.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two sons, David Paul Campbell and Paul M. Campbell; one grandson, Larry Bennet Jr.; and two sisters, Desota Sharp and Ajean Lodge.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband, Paul Campbell of the home; four daughters, Rose Aleshire of Lewisburg, WV, Pauline Campbell and Emerald Campbell, both of White Sulphur Springs, and Amanda Campbell of Caldwell, WV; one son, Robert Campbell and wife, Lori, of Covington, VA; one brother, Buster Sharp of Ronceverte, WV; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Johnny Graham, who helped as a caregiver for the past year and a half.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23, 2016, at 1 PM at the Wild Meadow Baptist Church with Pastors Roger McDaniel and Lowell O’Dell officiating. Burial will follow at the Campbell Cemetery on the homeplace.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
