Ralph Marshall, 79, of Manassas, VA, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016.
Ralph was born in Wise County, VA, on August 29, 1937, the youngest of 16 children born to William Thomas and Lillie Belle Hurd Marshall.
Ralph dedicated his life to public service as a Virginia state trooper. He was also a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge in Danville, VA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Bigger; son, Woodell Arrington; seven brothers; and five sisters.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Charlotte) of Caldwell, WV, Lillie Kay of Palmetto, FL, Troy (Rebekah) of Warrenton, VA, and Bradley of Haymarket, VA; brothers, Frank, Robert, and Kenneth Marshall of Norton, VA; five grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Troy, Kayleigh, and Noah, and Patricia Thomas of Manassas, VA; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
