Pauline Margaret “Polly” Osborne, 91, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at The Brier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Ronceverte, WV.
She was born April 13, 1924, in Renick, WV, the youngest daughter of Mason M. and Myrtle Taylor.
Polly worked at Louise’s Dress Shop in Kenova, WV, for 36 years before retiring at age 77. Outgoing and friendly, she was known as a gracious hostess and an excellent cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wayne Taylor, Opal J. Holesapple, and Mason M. “Jr.” Taylor.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Margaret Tucker of Calabash, NC, and Patricia Ann Fedczak (Jim) of Renick; five grandchildren, Richard Causey of Elizabeth, WV, Samuel Causey and Patrick Causey (Marilyn) of North Carolina, Karen Adkins (Andy) of Hurricane, WV, and Jay Fedczak (Tamara) of Proctorville, OH; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her best friend of 65 years, Beulah Lasure of Ceredo, WV; and special friend and co-worker, Faye Lester of Kenova.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at The Brier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for the special love and care she received while she was residing there.
Visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, from 12-1 PM on Friday, March 18, 2016, followed by a service with Pastor Steve Barnette officiating. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery in Renick immediately following the service.
Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
