Lewis Casteel Loudermilk Jr., 63, of Alderson, WV, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.
He was born May 8, 1952, in Washington, D.C., the only child of the late Lewis Casteel Loudermilk Sr. and Alice Rusk Loudermilk.
He lived from birth until 1990 in Washington, D.C., and then moved to Chantilly, VA, where he lived until May of 2005. He then moved to Alderson, where he made his final home.
Lewis loved to hunt, fish, and ride four wheelers and motorcycles. He was formerly a facility specialist with E.D.S. (Electronic Data Systems) from January 1986 through December 2004 and worked in maintenance for Goodrich from June 2007 until 2011.
On December 16, 1989, Lewis married Sandra J. Gulnac Loudermilk, who survives him. They shared 26 years of marriage together.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV.
Funeral services at the funeral home are scheduled for Thursday, January 28, at 4 PM with Pastor Randall Pettit officiating. Interment will be held at the Lamphier Cemetery in Eldred, PA, at a later date.
