Mae Tilda Webb, 94, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Teays Valley Assisted Living in Hurricane, WV.
Born December 31, 1920, in White Sulphur Springs, she was the daughter of Basil Thomas and Emma Elizabeth McCallister Campbell.
She was a member of the Glace Presbyterian Church at Glace, WV. Mae graduated from White Sulphur High School in 1941. She was employed by The Greenbrier hotel and the former Burlington Mills and Hanover Shoe Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Henry Posey “Junior” Webb in 2006; and was the last surviving member of her family.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jim Schnieder of Hurricane; grandchildren, J.T. Schneider of Huntington, WV, and Carrie Oliver and husband, Chris, of Clarksburg, WV; and many nieces and nephews.
Mae will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Teays Valley Assisted Living for their love and care over the past two years.
Visitation will be held at Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs on Monday, October 26, 2015, from 11 AM-1 PM.
Services will immediately follow at the funeral home with the Rev. Lewis Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Alleghany Memorial Park in Low Moor, VA.
