Ruth Marie Foley Stentz, 88, of Lebanon, OH, died Monday, September 7, 2015.
Born June 25, 1927, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of James and Alvina Toerner Foley.
She was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge club, playing golf at Harmon Golf Course, sewing, and worked at St. Francis de Sales as organist, pianist, and secretary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Long Foley; her husband, Robert Stentz; one son, Paul Stentz; and two brothers, James and Ralph Foley.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Stentz (Susan) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Daniel Stentz of Baltimore, MD, and Kevin Stentz (Joy) of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Scott Applegate, John Apple-gate, and Kathryn Alderman; and two great-grandchildren, Emil Applegate and Eleanor Alderman.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2015, from 9:30-10:30 AM with Mass of Christian burial following, all at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Cincinnati, OH. Interment follows at St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Bernard, OH.
