Earl L. Corbin, 87, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Thursday, April 30 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV.
Mr. Corbin was born July 9, 1927, in Lewisburg, the son of the late Hugh and Lottie Huttsenpiller Corbin.
Earl was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men, was an Army veteran of World War II, and retired from Honeywell Corp in Dayton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Freda Williams, Alene Eades and husband, George, and Hazel Bennett and husband, Sherman; and a niece, Sherlene Bennett.
Survivors include his first cousin, Thelma H. Berkley of Lewisburg; and nieces and nephews, Gary Eades (Janet), Ann Hoak (Gene), Keith Eades, George Eades (Katherine), Ronald Eades, Carol Dean (James), Kent Bennett (Joyce), Lou Bennett (Kathie), Kathie Bennett, Stephen Williams, Barry Williams (Pam), and Vicki Potomo.
Joint services with his sister, Freda Williams, who died April 22, 2015, will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 12 PM at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 2, from 11 AM until time of the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 214 E. Washington Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
