Roger Lee Ramsey, 65, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, died Friday, April 3, 2015, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.
Born June 3, 1949, in Paint Bank, VA, he was a son of the late Henry Jalmer and Elsie Norine McDowell Ramsey.
Roger was of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at logging. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Alicia Looney Ramsey, at home; one son, Joshua Ramsey of White Sulphur Springs; a stepdaughter, Crystal Gail Looney; and brothers and sisters, Darrell, Stoney, Steve, David, and Fred Ramsey, Mary Childress, and Wilma Flack, all of White Sulphur Springs.
Memorial services are slated for Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 3 PM at the New Vision Baptist Church, Main Street, White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Kathie Holland officiating.
Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is serving the family.
