Jeanie “Betty Jean” Clinebell, 63, of Roanoke, VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015.
She was a longtime employee of Bell Atlantic in Roanoke and a former member of Whatcoat United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs, WV. She was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School in Fairlea, WV, Class of 1969.
Jeanie was one of 10 children and was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Anna Grace Clinebell Smith; her father, George W. Clinebell Jr.; one brother, Bill Clinebell; and a special niece, Suzanne Folden.
She is survived by her only child, Laura Lee Clinebell, and her only grandchild, Grant Anthony Clinebell, both of Roanoke. They were the apple of her eye and the reason she smiled. Also surviving are five sisters, Carol Smith (Carl) of Troutville, VA, Lou Mazey (Lanse) of Roanoke, Sara Fogus (Henry) of White Sulphur Springs, Una Humphreys (Dana) of Covington, VA, and Becky Folden (Dave) of Lewisburg, WV; three brothers, Kenny Clinebell of Roanoke, Larry Clinebell (Kime) of Tampa, FL, and Lannie Clinebell of White Sulphur Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jeanie’s life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Cave Spring Baptist Church.
Donations may be made to the Dementia/Alzheimer’s Association.
