Darles Darlene Clendenin, 75, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
Darles was born February 6, 1940, to Jonas and Lucille Sparks.
She was retired from The Greenbrier Hotel laundry after 46 years of service. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas Sparks and Lucille Sparks; brother, Buck Sparks; and grandson, Joshua Clendenin.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Chuck Clendenin; her two sons, Charlie Clendenin of Maxwelton, WV, and Jimmy Clendenin (Rhonda) of Alvon, WV; sister, Charlotte Dodd of Caldwell, WV; brother, Leslie Sparks (Gloria) of White Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren, Jonas (Becky), Joshua, Jacob, Luke, Jessie (Michael), and Cody (Courtney); and four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlynn, Caleb, and Emily.

A visitation will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Alvon United Methodist Church with a short memorial service at 4 PM. Pastors Buck Caldwell, Gerald Roberts, and Bobby McClintic will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alvon United Methodist Church.
