Roger P. Blake Jr., 52, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.
Born September 19, 1962, at Ronceverte, he was the son of Roger P. Blake Sr. of Ronceverte and the late Mary R. Blake.
Roger was a supervisor for Mott Manufacturing Company in Maxwelton, WV.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Blake; children, Alexis Blake, Aron Blake, Tyler Grubbs, and Josh Grubbs; sisters, Valerie Hinkle and Tony of Lewisburg, WV, and Kimberly Honaker and Mark of Ronceverte; brother, Robin Blake of Ronceverte; several aunts and uncles; and all his biker family.
Services are scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2015, at 3 PM at the Rhema Christian Center on Davis Stuart Road in Fairlea, WV, with the Rev. Garrett Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 1-3 PM on Friday prior to the funeral at Rhema Christian Center, and per Roger’s request, everyone should just come dressed as they are, preferably bluejeans.
David Shay, Mike Freeman, Tracy Haynes, Tyler Grubbs, Josh Grubbs, Tim Smith, and Aron Blake will serve as pallbearers.
