Rondel Lee “Jake” Christian, 80, of Frankford, WV, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
Born July 4, 1934, at Frankford, he was the son of the late Ernest L. and Mabel Adwell Christian.
Jake was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Harvey Christian; daughter, Nancy Bibb and husband, Pete, of Roanoke, VA; son, Raymond Christian and wife, Elaine, of New Castle, VA; grandchildren, Michelle and Justin Boone, Brandon, Bradley, and Brenton Christian, Lindsey Davey, and Lora Bibb; three great-grandchildren, Mikalah, Landen, and Connor; and sisters, Mary McMillion and Charles of Tampa, FL, and Nina Wickline of Frankford.
Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Emmanuel Open Bible Church in Frankford with Pastors Gary and Debby DeVart and Raymond Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Community Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery on Brush Road in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, January 13, at the church in Frankford.
