Irene Marie Masters Woodrum of Caldwell, WV, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 8, 2015.
She was born July 13, 1939, in Caldwell to the late Harlin “Duck” and Ada Lowe Masters.
Irene was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church in Caldwell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Sonny” Woodrum; and sister-in-law, Virgie Masters.
She is survived by her son, Leslie “Humpy” Woodrum (Jenna); daughters, Cheryl Austin (Dennis) and Michelle Level; six grandchildren, Ryan Woodrum (Carla), Amy Burdette (Jason), Jaried Austin, Alec Austin, Ethan Level, and LindseyLevel; four great-grandchildren, Brentlee and Adalynn Burdette and Kylee and Kendal Woodrum; several nieces and nephews; and her special sister, Faye Woodrum.
Services will be conducted on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at 2 PM at the Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Ronnie Saville officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg, WV.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Saturday, January 10, at the Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to HospiceCare Inc., 223 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
