Marjorie Jane Williams, 90, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
She was born July 8, 1924, in Ronceverte, WV, the daughter of the late Forest Bryan and Una Laura Wyatt Suttle.
Marjorie was a member of the White Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and was a retired telephone operator for The Greenbrier hotel.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Edward Williams; sister, Mildred Atchison; and brother, Forest Suttle.
Surviving are her daughter, Janet Ayers and companion, Jerry Wilson, of Gap Mills, WV; grandchildren, Douglas Reynolds and wife, Kerrie, of Beckley, WV, Stephanie Rasnic and husband, Donovan, of Union, WV, and Amanda Ayers of Gap Mills; and a nephew, Robert Surgeon and wife, Virginia, of Lewisburg, WV.
Funeral services for Marjorie were held Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 2 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with the Rev. Randy Gilliam officiating. Interment followed at the Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte.
The family received relatives and friends on Saturday, December 27, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
