Christine Ann Christian, 73, of Renick, WV, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
Ms. Christian was born June 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Lottie Stacy Christian.
Christine was a lifelong resident of Renick, where she graduated from Renick High School. She was of the Protestant faith and was an LPN. She worked at the Greenbrier Center until its closure, but with her love of the medical profession, she continued to care for others.
Surviving Christine are her sisters, Jewell C. Dolan of Lewisburg, WV, and Kathleen C. Snell of York, PA; her brother, Frank G. Christian of Lewisburg; nieces, Kay Arrowood (Bruce), Judy Christian, Beth Snell, Lori Stephenson (Richard), and Liz Vaught (Doug); nephew, William Joseph McMillion (Karen); and several grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Funeral services for Christine will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014, at 2 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Robert Hefner officiating. Interment will follow at the Morningside Cemetery in Renick.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 13, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
