New River Community and Technical College President L. Marshall Washington held a press conference Wednesday to respond to a court order issued at the end of October requiring that the $1 million in hotel-motel tax funds be returned to the Greenbrier County Commission. The inappropriately allotted funds had been intended for the renovation of the swimming pool in the college’s student activities building.
