Mac Spangler, a resident of The Brier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Ronceverte, said he wanted to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, held September 27. Even though he usually uses a wheelchair, Spangler stated that he was going to walk across the finish line. With the help of his grandchildren, that’s exactly what he did.
