Juanita Parker Donovan, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a life-long resident of Organ Cave, WV, and a member of the Salem Presbyterian Church.
She was active in the Organ Cave Community Association, Ruritan Club, and other local civic organizations.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Lelia Boone Parker and George Parker; brothers, Bennie and George “Jack;” and sisters, Margaret and Virginia.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard; her children, Richard Jr. of Charleston, WV, Lois Dell’ Accio (Vincent) of West Islip, NY, Tim (Tina) of Organ Cave, Tom (Kay) of Lewisburg, WV, and David (Mary) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, and Andrea Dell’ Accio, Ty, Todd, and Thomas Donovan, Katie and Kris Donovan, and Michaela and Emily Donovan; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, October 3, 2014, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg and 1 PM on Saturday, October 4, preceding the funeral service at 2 PM at Salem Presbyterian Church at Organ Cave. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Ben Gurley. Interment will follow in the Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Organ Cave.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salem Presbyterian Church, Route 2, Box 289, Ronceverte, WV 24970, in memory of Juanita Parker Donovan.
