William Allen Jarvis, 48, of Amherst, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014, in his home.
Allen was born in Huntington, WV, on October 30, 1965, to Bill and Litz Jarvis.
He was a truck driver and equipment operator with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tammy H. Jarvis; four children, Travis, Holly, William Allen III, and Layla, all of Virginia; and two sisters, Amy Jarvis Wade of Lewisburg, WV, and Anne Jarvis Collins of Winston-Salem, NC.
A celebration of Allen’s life will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the home of his parents, followed by a covered dish lunch.
Driskill Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services in Amherst, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
