Howard B. Chapman, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 18, 2014, at Holston Manor in Kingsport, TN.
Mr. Chapman was born March 31, 1936, in Clay County, WV, and was the son of the late Mary and Clyde Chapman.
Preceding him in death, other than his parents, was a sister, Margaret Jordan.
Left to cherish is memory are his wife of 60 years, Gene Luttrell Chapman of Kingsport; daughter, Janice Chapman of Kingsport; brother, Bill Chapman and wife, Mary, of Florida; sister, Debbie Walling of Florida; aunt, Nancy Lafon and husband,
Jimmy, of Ronceverte, WV; cousin, Kathi Judy of Ronceverte; and brother-in-law, Claude Luttrell, and sister-in-law, Madelyn Neal and husband, Argil, all of Johnson City, TN.
The Rev. Carl Strickler performed the funeral service for Mr. Chapman on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 7 PM at the Lynn Garden Baptist Church and the Graveside services on Friday, August 22, at 11 AM at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Kingsport.
