Wayne C. Shafer, 41, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.
Born March 11, 1973, at Ronceverte, he was the son of Donald and Deanna Chambers Shafer.
Wayne enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and woodworking. He loved spending time with family and friends and helping others. He was a member of Lewisburg Baptist Church and was employed at MeadWestvaco.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Royd and Marie Shafer and Robert and Susie Chambers; and a sister, Kimberly Shafer.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Julie Ann Shafer; children, Adam and Calah at home; brother, Ronald Shafer of Alderson, WV; and sister, Heather Graham (Billy) of Ronceverte. Services will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Lewisburg Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating. Burial will follow in McLean Cemetery near Ronceverte.
