A petition for writ of prohibition was brought before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia on April 23 between Bryan D. Thompson, the petitioner, and Judge Joseph C. Pomponio of the Circuit Court of Pocahontas County and Eugene M. Simmons, current prosecuting attorney for Pocahontas County, the respondents.
