Frances Juanita Williams, 73, of Lewisburg, WV, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Born May 20, 1941, at Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Bowman and Gladys Bowman Wells.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Frances worked for many years at The West Virginia Daily News. She never knew a stranger, and she loved the Lord and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie E. Williams; one son, John K. Williams; two daughters-in-law, Kathy R. Williams and Terri Williams; and a brother, John D. Bowman.
Survivors include two sons, David E. and Timothy A. Williams; two daughters, Denise I. Bailey and Melinda M. Hall (Lonnie); three sisters, Mary Ann Hughes, Edith Keyt, and Joyce Douglas; one brother, Denny Bowman; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her four-legged friend, Chloe.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 1 PM at the McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Gary Dean officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
McCraw Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
