George Allen Loudermilk, 78, of Caldwell, WV, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born June 24, 1935, to the late Henry and Callie Loudermilk, he worked at The Greenbrier hotel as a groundskeeper for 43 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Holbert Loudermilk; sister, Eula Coyle; nephew, Dwayne Campbell; nieces, Frances Massie and Dessie Arbaugh; and great-grandchild, Tyler Lynn Loudermilk.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wonda Loudermilk; son, Jeffery Loudermilk; grandchildren, Eli Loudermilk and wife, Heather, Melissa Loudermilk, and Arcena Atwell; great-grandchildren, Shane Suttle, Stephanie, Bradley, and Connor Loudermilk, Chelsey Fletcher, Angel Pritt, and Randy, Crystal, and Anna Atwell; great-great-grandchild, Isaac Atwell; sisters, Isabel Morgan of Organ Cave, WV, Rachel Allen and Florence Register of Ronceverte, WV, and Virgie Masters of Wilmington, NC; and brother, Eugene Loudermilk of Fort Spring, WV.
Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with the Revs. Everette Defibaugh and Kenny Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 6-9 PM on Monday, June 2, at the funeral home.
