Roberta “Bobby” Kyle Clemens, 90, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at her residence following a long illness.
Mrs. Clemens was born November 17, 1923, in Elkins, WV, the daughter of William and Etrulia Wylie Kyle. She was raised in Marlinton, WV, by her grandmother, Augusta Smith.
She was a retired secretary with the Bendix Corporation (ABB), retiring in 1981. Bobby was a resident of Melborne, FL, from 1981 until 1999.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Clemens; a brother, Bill Kyle; and her cat, Bonnie.
Surviving are her daughter, Ann Clemens of Lewisburg; son, William Clemens and wife, Jennifer, of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren, Billy Clemens of Nashville, TN, Jenny Clemens of Atlanta, GA, Derek Clemens and companion, Sheraneka, of Lewisburg, and Danny Grzep of Lewisburg; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 23, 2014, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Kathy Keadle, CLM, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations are to be sent to Kanawha HospiceCare Inc., 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
