Emma Josephine Jenkins left us to join Ella Sue, her beloved mother, after a long and very brave battle with COPD on Monday, May 12, 2014.
Emma was born August 8, 1936, in White Sulphur Springs, WV, the oldest child of the late Ella Sue and Cornelius Moore.
Emma was an extremely strong-willed woman who was known for being very giving, loving, and hard working her entire life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and a great friend to many.
In addition to her parents, Emma Jo was predeceased by her sister, Connie Moore.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeffrey Neil Jenkins and girlfriend, Mandy Westbrook, and Franklin Scott Jenkins and wife, Corrine Sue Jenkins; grandchildren, Bianca Denea, Tallon Jenkins, and Journey Conley Jenkins; along with many very special friends and neighbors; and her loving companions, Winnie and Pooh.
