William Ellis “Bill” Hughes, 67, of Caldwell, WV, passed away at UVA Medical Center on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
Born January 30, 1947, in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of the late Early Ellis Hughes and Aretta Lena Estep Hughes.
He was retired from MeadWestvaco.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Fisher Hughes; two sons, Charles Ellis Hughes and Rhonda of Caldwell and Daniel Allen Hughes and Melissa Ann of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Kimberly Denise Leatherman of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Krystal Ann Hughes and Colby Joseph Hughes, both of Caldwell; and sister Jeanette Brightbill and Jim of New York.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 3 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating.
Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
