James Jackson Blevins Sr., 43, of Rhoadesville, VA, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Born November 2, 1970, at Alexandria, VA, he was the son of the late Walter Wayne and Ida Elizabeth Beard Blevins.
Mr. Blevins was a carpenter by trade and belonged to Local 491 Carpenters Union.
Survivors include four children, twins Calianna Nichole and James Jackson Blevins Jr., Nicholas Morgan Blevins, and Jessie Wyatt Blevins; sister, Virginia Barbare and husband, Chuck, of Rhoadesville; two brothers, Walter Wayne Blevins Jr. and wife, Terry, of Unionville, VA, and Edward Allen Blevins of Rhoadesville; and several nieces and nephews.
It was Mr. Blevins’ wish to be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at the place of his baptism at 4 PM on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Culbertson Creek, Williamsburg, WV, with Pastor Roger Alder officiating.
