Rosa Lee Johnson Ingram, 83, of Frankford, WV, died at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV, on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Rosa, daughter of the late Effie Huffman and Kenous Johnson, was born February 15, 1931, at Richlands, WV.
Rosa was retired from Kellwood Corporation, was a homemaker, and attended the First Baptist Church of Fairlea. She loved her family unconditionally, enjoyed quilting and baking for the holidays, and was as avid NASCAR fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd George Ingram; son, Cameron Ingram; brothers, Charles Huffman, Leonard “Bill” Huffman, James “Buster” Armentrout, William Armentrout, Luther Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Forrest Johnson; sisters, Eva Huffman Johnson, Martha Armentrout Hanson, Mary Armentrout Hanson, Beulah Armentrout Wetzel, Phyllis Johnson Hughes, and Ruth Johnson Helton.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Lula Marie Rowe (Albert) of Frankford and Jeanie Ware (Bob) of Lewisburg, WV; grandsons, Shannon Rowe of Frankford, Ben Lewis (Sara) of Cross Lanes, WV, and Jamie Lewis (Angie) of Cross Lanes; step-granddaughter, Susan Ware of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Austin, Bradley, and Olivia; one stepgranddaughter, Baylie; brothers, Ulis Simpson Johnson, Elmer Johnson, LaRue Johnson, Alfred Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Sidney Johnson, and Franklin Johnson; and sisters, Nancy Johnson Mills and Helen Johnson Meksvanh.
Services will be held at the McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg at 1 PM on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, with the Rev. Joe Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Lewis Chapel Cemetery at Vago, WV.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, April 22 at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
Pallbearers will grandsons and Chad Cocheran and Bruce Cocheran.
McCraw Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
