Pocahontas County Postpones Thursday Vaccination Clinic Due To Inclement Weather

The severe weather experienced over the past several weeks has impacted many aspects of day-to-day life in the region. And with yet another impending storm preparing to dump as much as eight-inches of snow in some areas, the Pocahontas County Health Department has opted topostpone the COVID-19 vaccination clinic which was scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, February 18.

Through a social media post on Wednesday evening, Pocahontas County health officials stated, “It has been rescheduled for Monday, February 22 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Marlinton Wellness Center. Everyone scheduled for this clinic have been attempted to be contacted. If you were scheduled to receive a shot at this clinic and have not been contacted please call the Health Department at 304-799-4154 for a rescheduled time.”

The West Virginia Daily News will provide additional updates regarding the scheduling of vaccination clinics as additional details are made available.
