CANTERBURY
Virgil Dale Canterbury, 79, of Ronceverte passed away on January 26, 2021 at Lewisburg Center (The Brier), in Ronceverte, WV.
Dale was born July 5, 1941 in Ronceverte and was the son of the late Ira Walter and Viola Maude Mann Canterbury.
He was a Primitive Baptist and a retired utility laborer with B. A. Mullican Lumber Company.
Preceding Dale in death, other than his parents, was a brother, Everette Canterbury.
Surviving are his brother, Denny Canterbury of Organ Cave; sister-in-law, Delores Canterbury of Ronceverte; niece, Denise Canterbury; and nephews, Ray, Wayne, and Brian Canterbury.
Private graveside services will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg with Elder Jimmy Boothe officiating.
