CHURCH
Patricia Bartlett Church, 74, of Loops Road, Rainelle, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following a month-long battle with COVID-19.
Born November 20, 1946, in Springdale, she was the daughter of the late Delford “Dale” and Margaret “Marge” Cordial Bartlett.

She retired from FEMA, worked with the Coal Heritage Foundation, and was an executive for Mahle Industries, Inc. in Tennessee that had her working all over the world. She was so capable and was truly the ultimate professional. She will leave a void in every capacity she filled, especially with her family. Her greatest attribute was her heart.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother D.W. “Bill” Bartlett, Jr.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Doug Church; her son, Wade Word (Julie) of Tennessee; three stepsons, Mike Church (Tammy) of Grassy Meadows, Jason Church of Loops Road, and Leslie Church of Sam Black; one brother, Reney Bartlett (Cleo) of Dawson; one sister, Twyla Diehl (Glen) of Renick; her sister-in-law, Linda Bartlett of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Alyssa and Josh Word, Jamie Fleshman, Davey Church, Megan Cline, Amanda Church, Chandra Ayers, Ryan, Makayla and Jada Church; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Per her request, the body will be cremated and due to COVID-19, there will be no service at this time.
