MCMILLION
Betty Jane McMillion, 81, of Beaver, WV, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
She was born February 17, 1939, at Pikeville, KY; a daughter of the late Harold Raymond and Jewell Nova Williams McPeeks.
Betty was a very witty woman with a great sense of humor. She loved the lord and had a great compassion for animals. Betty was retired from the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs and was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church in Renick.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William A. “Bill” McMillion; two sisters, Faye Goode and an infant sister, Mary Lou McPeeks; and one brother, Bobby McPeeks.
Survivors include her sister, Sue Schuman and her husband, Sonny; three daughters, Leah Stone and Tracy Nelson, both of Beckley and Evonne Richards and her husband, Rob of Beaver; a son, Jimmy Stone of Ronceverte; three step-sons, Jeff, Greg, and Billy McMillion and their families; grandchildren, Morgan, Brittany, Levi, Trevor, J.D., Lea and Hunter; several great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; and her furry companions, Bear, Louie, Willie and Pumpkin.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, Renick, with Pastor Phil Hickman officiating. Interment will follow in Morningside Cemetery, Renick.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Greenbrier County Humane Society, 151 Holliday Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
