HINKLE

Annetta “Gracelene” Hinkle, formerly of Crawley, WV, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2022, at home with family in Westover, WV, at the age of 89.

Gracelene Hinkle was born on December 17, 1932, in Lincoln County, WV. She was the late daughter of Ark and Elma Roberts. Gracelene graduated from Duval High School at the age of 16 in 1948.

Gracelene was a faithful member of the Hines Baptist Church in Hines, WV, for many years. She loved reading her bible, working word searches and jigsaw puzzles, and watching westerns and games shows, in addition to spending time with family and friends and creating precious memories. Everyone who knew Gracelene loved her dearly. She was an amazing Christian woman who was a beautiful bright ray of sunshine, spreading love, kindness, and the gospel to all during her time here on earth.

She was preceded in death by husband, Marshall H Hinkle; daughter, Robin Hinkle Groves; brothers, Curtis, Ransford, Claud, James, Benny Roberts; and sisters, Arlene McCallister and Carol Graham; in addition to her very dear friend, Margaret Cruse.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Darlene Crane and Danny of Crawley, WV, Marlene Henson and Dennis of Clintonville, WV, Linda Channell and Frank of Westover, WV; and son, Marshall H. Hinkle and Donna of Lewisburg, WV; grandchildren, Lisa, Michelle, Jason, Marcie, Erika, Heather, Melanie, and Brittany and Whitney; great-grandchildren, Alex, Madison, Hannah, Emily, Mercedes, Parker, Gwen, Aiden, Asher, and Jasper.

The family would also like to recognize and add a special mention to the newest additions to her family and her wonderful nieces, Joyce Smith and Debbie Trent, and many other family friends and caregivers who played a big part in Gracelene’s life.

“Our family was so heartbroken to see you go, but we are all happy knowing that the Lord and his angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother and grandmother. We will all soon see you again rejoicing in Heaven.”

Services for Gracelene will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at Wallace and Wallace funeral home in Rainelle, WV, with Pastor Kermit Hunter, Jr. and Pastor Gary Eisenman officiating. The family will receive guests from 12 p.m. until the funeral services begin. Interment will be held privately at Wallace Memorial Cemetery.

Please send online condolences by visiting www.WallaceandWallaceFH.com.

Wallace & Wallace, Inc., 283 Main St., Rainelle, WV 25962, is in charge of arrangements.
