MINES
Bernard (Bernie) William Mines, 51, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at his home.
Bernie was born September 2, 1971, in Ft. Knox, KY, and was the son of Betty Griffith and the late Bobby Lee Mines.
Mr. Mines was a general laborer and landscaper. He attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He had been a meat cutter with his uncle, Larry, at Larry’s deer processing for 20 plus years and worked for the Greenbrier Solid Waste.
Bernie was a big fan of WWE wrestling on TV and enjoyed tattooing.
Bernie is survived by his mother, Betty Griffith Craft; daughter, Savannah Mines Holliday (Hunter Holliday); sons, Gabriel Mines (Jasmine Hoke), Trinity Mines, Trevor Mines, and Cody O’Dell; grandchildren, Bentley Mines, Greyson Mines, and Jayce Holliday; aunt, Sandra Griffith; and uncles, Larry and Baxter Griffith.
In keeping with Bernie’s wishes, he will be cremated.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. The family will be visiting with family and friends from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
