CHARLESTON (WVDN) – On Friday, Nov. 18, the Intermediate Court of Appeals of West Virginia (ICA) issued its first signed opinion. The court issued its opinion in Amanda C. v. Christopher P., 22-ICA-2, authored by Chief Judge Daniel W. Greear and joined in by Judge Charles O. Lorensen. Judge Thomas E. Scarr filed a concurring opinion.
The court also issued 23 memorandum decisions last week. There is a link to each opinion and memorandum decision on the ICA’s opinions page: http://www.courtswv.gov/intermediate-court/opinions.html.
“Judge Tom Scarr, Judge Charlie Lorensen, and I are pleased to announce the release of the Court’s first signed opinion and memorandum decisions during its first term,” said Greear. “We are on pace to handle 800 to 1,000 cases per year. We are committed to thoroughly reviewing each case that properly comes before us and acting on each one as expeditiously as possible.”
