RENICK (WVDN) – The Renick Community Center and the Robert C. Byrd Clinic are always looking for ways to serve their community, and in an effort to make healthcare accessible in all areas, they have worked together to organize a flu shot clinic on the northern end of Greenbrier County next week.
The Robert C. Byrd Clinic will be driving their clinical staff and supplies to the Renick Community Center on Thursday, Oct. 13. Once there, they will use their new mobile clinic to serve patients who wish to receive a flu shot and/or covid boosters from 9-11 a.m.
“We hope this will provide a convenient solution for individuals who want to be better prepared for the common illnesses associated with these cold Fall and Winter months” said Joshua Barclay, marketing director at the Robert C. Byrd Clinic. “We encourage residents to participate and take advantage of this service.”
Flu Shots are free for those with Medicare Part B and Medicare Advantage Plans. Patients who wish to receive a flu shot or covid booster can call ahead at 304-645-3220 or just drop by during the event. Patients should also be sure to bring their insurance card and ID.
