RUPERT (WVDN) – The Rupert Area Improvement Council (RAIC) will hold their annual Country Fling on Oct. 1 in the town of Rupert.
Crowning of little Mister and Miss Country Fling will be held on Friday evening in the Rupert Community Building beginning at 7 p.m.
Saturday will start the day with a parade at 10 a.m. The theme is “Celebrating YOUR Community”.
A Car show will be held at City National Bank.
An arts and crafts show will open following the parade along with an opportunity to join in an inside flea market.
There will also be a Pretty Baby contest, games, inside and outside activities for adults and children, food vendors, cake auction, face painting, and the ticket drawing for a chance at a $500 gift certificate to Park Sporting Goods and/or local hand-made quilt, plus many other prizes are just a few of the activities planned.
The Rupert Library is sponsoring an Art Show, with band and food beginning at 5 p.m.
All proceeds go to the upkeep of the Rupert Community Building, a disaster relief location.
