Julia Cathleen Zimmerman, 64, of Lewisburg, passed away on August 11, 2022, at the White Sulphur Springs Center.
She was born March 18, 1958 in White Sulphur Springs and was the daughter of the late Elmer “Soonie” and Ida Sue Perry Zimmerman.
Julia had worked at Fort Savannah Inn and Restaurant, The Greenbrier Hotel, but most recently as a professional picture framer with the Naked Wall Frame Shop in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
She leaves behind her sisters, Sheila Leslie of White Sulphur Springs and Lisa M. Rush (Joe) of Lewisburg; brother, Mark Zimmerman (Nancy) of North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Adam Humphrey (Amy) of Youngstown, OH, Justin Gatlin (Nicole) of Mineral, VA, Tony Rush (Michelle) of Harrisonburg, VA, Sarah Leslie and Erin Leslie, both of White Sulphur Springs; great-nieces and nephews, A. J. and Alisabeth Humphrey, both of Youngstown, OH, Hunter Gatlin and Fisher Gatlin of Mineral, VA, Kristopher Rush and Kalista Rush both of Harrisonburg, VA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Julia’s wishes were to be cremated with no immediate services planned.
