LEWISBURG (WVDN) – The Lewisburg in Bloom committee has announced the downtown Lewisburg fire hydrant painting contest winners.
They wish to congratulations to all artists. Winners are:
First place $100 Sandra Schmocker- Carnegie facade;
People’s Choice Award $65 Susannah Robinson-Crows and accordion;
Spirit of Lewisburg Award $65 Karen Cohen- Lovely Day;
Second place $50 Christi Proctor- WV flowers;
Third place $40 Audriannah Nobel- Cherry blossoms;
Fourth place $35 Stephanie Mooney- Night and Day, Moths and butterflies;
Fifth place $30 Abel Nobel-Red, White and Blue flag;
Sixth place $25 Amanda Butler- Mosaic;
Seventh place $20 Karen Cohen, Universe Unfolding.
Award checks may be picked up at Lewisburg City Hall on Tuesday, July 5.
