The first Saturday devotions and daily Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 6, in the Catholic Church of Mary Immaculate near Williamsburg beginning at 10:30 a.m.
A covered dish picnic lunch will be held on the grounds following the Mass.
Built in 1902, the church is observing its 120th anniversary serving the Irish and German Catholic populations of northern Greenbrier County and is the oldest Catholic church building in Greenbrier County.
From Lewisburg, the church can be reached by traveling US 219 north to Frankford and then west on the Frankford/Williamsburg Road to Catholic Church Road, a distance of 4 ½ miles. From the Beckley area take I-64 East to the Alta Exit, then north on WV 20 to US 60 East and US 60 East about a block to Sinking Creek Rd. north to Williamsburg and the southeast on Frankford Rd. to Catholic Church Rd., a distance of about four miles.
Neighbors of the church provide the upkeep of the cemetery and the church.
