WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, May 25, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, White House Senior Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator Mitch Landrieu, and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management Laura Daniel-Davis will host a press call to discuss how new investments from President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will help address legacy pollution and create good-paying jobs plugging orphaned oil and gas wells on federal lands.
This announcement supports the Biden-Harris administration’s Justice40 initiative to deliver at least 40 percent of the benefits of climate and clean energy investments to disadvantaged communities.
