Heather Hill is a candidate for House of Delegates, District 47 (Greenbrier County west of U.S. Rt. 219, including Rupert, Rainelle, Alderson, Williamsburg and ½ of Ronceverte, Lewisburg, Frankford and Renick). She is a resident of Lewisburg, having moved here to accept a therapist position with a nearby nationally accredited institution. Her family has long-time roots and residence in Greenbrier County, principally in the Frankford/Renick area.
A native of Charleston, prior to her current position she was a therapist and counselor for a health center in Charleston, with multiple experiences testifying before the Legislature. She is passionate for improving West Virginia, especially fundamental topics that will improve the business climate: equality for all individuals, clean water, inspired education and work environments that support health, safety and fair wages.
Heather holds a Bachelor’s Degree with concentrations in Psychology and Sociology and a Minor in Dance from Radford University as well as a Master’s Degree in Psychological Services from Marymount University, Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology and serves on the ACE’s Coalition Board of Directors. She is a registered yoga instructor, Pilates instructor and Reiki master, focusing on healing of trauma. She also recently attained her certification as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist through MD Anderson.
